Wake Forest Art & Frame Shop was established in 1996 and has been around to witness all the wonderful growth and revitalization that has happened in Historic Downtown Wake Forest. In 2008 Katherine Falk purchased the business and was the shops Owner, Lead Framer and Manager until 2022 when her daughter Grace took over as Lead Framer and Manager. Together Grace and her design team Hannah Muller and Jo Bizzelle continue to serve the custom framing needs of Wake Forest and surrounding areas.

Richard O'Neill was the original founder and owner of The Wake Forest Art & Frame Gallery. He and his wife Norma worked in the shop from 1996-2008 when they decided to retire and eventually move closer to their children.

Rich sold the shop to Katherine but still came in weekly to make sure things were running smoothly for all of his long time beloved customers. He and Katherine would talk about all the varying projects for the week and how best to handle this item or that.

Long after Rich had moved on people came in and asked about him, bragged about the great work he had done and spoke of how kind he was. What he and Norma created lives on and we strive everyday to carry on their tradition of excellence.
